Delicious food at a location tucked away in a small corner. I tried the lunch buffet to sample an array of their items, and everything I had was delicious. The butter chicken was soft pieces of breast meat coated in this velvety, creamy sauce. The pakora were perfectly crispy, deliciously paired with mint and tamarind chutneys. The naan is fluffy, soft centre with a beautifully browned side. But the star for me was the Goat Curry, it was spicy, rich, just enough chew to it but comes right off the bone. Some of the bones even had marrow in them and that is a treasure in of itself. The staff are very attentive, friendly, and inviting. I found that my water was topped off frequently, they would ask how the meal is, and would explain dishes to other patrons if they weren’t familiar with them. Fantastic experience for a solo dining trip, I well be sure to come back with some friends next time!
Had a great dine-in experience! The butter chicken was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced—one of the best I’ve had. The okra (bhindi) was cooked just right, not slimy at all, and full of flavor. Great service and cozy atmosphere made it even better. Would definitely come back!
Excellent food and wonderful service. The restaurant in nice and bright with a cozy and pleasant atmosphere. Nice and colourful. The food was quicker than I expected and served beautifully. Our waiter was extremely pleasant with us, as well as all the other staff. We will come again!!
This place serves very tasty Indian cuisine. Never disappoint everytime I eat here. Service is very friendly. Prices are fair. Had 4 main dish, 3X garlic Naan, coconut rice and 2 specialty drinks 98. Recommend the lamb shishkabab and goat curry. Forgot to take pictures, I was too ravenous when food came out. will remember next visit :) **Update** came back. Pics below
First time ordering from Gate Of India. I tried a few other Indian restaurants nothing can compare. I will be only be ordering from this restaurant from now on when im craving Indian food! Delicious Best Chicken Tikka Masala I have had so far in Calgary great flavor not to spicy, plenty of food for the price. Vegetable Samosa nice flavor, Basmati Rice was cooked perfectly. Garlic Naan is nice and soft excellent flavor. Plain Naan is fresh. Chutney was refreshing and went nice with this meal!
Very good quality of food! Love this beautiful place. The people here are very nice. Good services as well. I love their goat meat, and their vegetarian dishes. Super delicious and delight. If you’re looking for something that’s tasty and savory, please come here and enjoy it! Recommend for 5 star restaurant from my personal opinion

Great Indian food. Very nice clean restaurant with plenty of parking. I got lamb korma and asked them to make it spicy and it was delicious.
